Groups and Retreats

Fiona facilitates group sessions which includes Mindful Movement as well as Day long retreats. These groups are designed to support people in reflecting and connecting to themselves and with others.  If you are interested in any of these groups, please make direct contact with Fiona.

Mindful Movement Groups
Mindful Movement is an evidence based technique to support reconnecting with breath and body.  The breath is a tool we use to assist in learning to create connection with the body, both internally and externally.  Movement can assist in supporting individuals to notice sensation in their body and how to move to best support themselves and to make healthy choices.
The body holds memories of events and experiences that may cause distress. Mindful movement techniques can be used as a tool to help explore these experiences in a gentle and non-confrontational approach. This approach teaches the development of trust and safety in our body through the process of offering choice.
This is a 5 week closed group.  The sessions can be funded under Medicare with a Mental Health Care Plan.  The total cost for the 5 weeks is $110.50 to be paid upfront.  Your rebate is funded after each week of attendance.
The group sessions are a closed group so the same 6 people will be in included in the 5 week block.  Please contact Fiona directly for more information.

Daylong Retreats

Daylong retreats are a carefully created day where we will include mindfulness, relaxation, journalling, movement and yoga nidra to create a day of introspection.  Exploring and sharing with others to facilitate a day of growth and fun in a shared safe space.  The Daylong Retreat will nourish us with activities and good food.
